We have spent more than 60 years helping people and families navigate the U.S. immigration system — from New York to the world, and from the world to New York. At Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco LLP, immigration is not a secondary practice area: it is the origin of this firm, and it remains the core of everything we do.
If you are looking for an immigration lawyer in New York City who understands your situation, speaks your language — literally — and has the track record to back up what they promise, you are in the right place.
Language is never a barrier here. We serve clients in Spanish, Chinese, Bulgarian, Russian, Hindi, Punjabi, and more.

Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco LLP is a New York City immigration law firm with more than six decades of history, over 100 years of combined legal experience, and a multilingual team that has represented thousands of families and individuals before USCIS, immigration courts, and federal courts.
We are not a general-purpose firm that also handles immigration; we are a firm built on immigration from day one.
There are many lawyers in New York. What distinguishes this firm is not a list of services, it is what stands behind it.
More than six decades of continuous practice. Since Arthur Pollack founded this firm after World War II, we have represented people at some of the most important and vulnerable moments of their lives.
We have seen immigration laws, administrations, and policies change, and we have adapted our practice accordingly. That continuity translates into real experience, not promises.
Over 100 years of accumulated legal experience. Our team is not made up of attorneys fresh out of law school learning to handle immigration cases. Every member of our team has years of specific practice in the areas they handle. That means when your case comes to us, the person working on it has already seen similar situations, and knows how to handle them.
Service in your language. We speak Spanish, Chinese, Bulgarian, Russian, Hindi, Punjabi, and other languages. This is not an add-on service, it is part of who we are.
From the first consultation through the resolution of your case, you can communicate with us in the language where you feel most comfortable. Nothing important gets lost in translation.
In-person and online consultations. We offer consultations both in person at our Manhattan and Peekskill offices, and remotely for those who prefer it or cannot travel. Your access to quality legal representation does not depend on where you are.

Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco LLP was built on immigration — not as a business strategy, but as personal conviction. The story of this firm begins with Arthur Pollack, a man who understood firsthand what it means to cross borders, adapt to different cultures, and build a new life in a foreign country.
Arthur Pollack was born in Yonkers, New York, but moved to Germany as a young child. In the 1930s, as the Nazi regime began to consolidate its power, he managed to escape and return to the United States.
He served in World War II — first as a paratrooper, and later as a translator at the Nuremberg Trials, the historic legal proceedings that brought the leaders of the Nazi regime to justice after the war.
What made Arthur Pollack extraordinary was not only his personal story — it was his gift for languages. He became fluent in 13 different tongues. That ability was not a hobby: it was a tool he used, throughout his life, to serve people who arrived in a new country without knowing how to navigate its systems.
After the war, Arthur Pollack used the GI Bill to fund his legal education. Upon graduating, he founded a firm specializing in U.S. immigration law — at a time when very few attorneys dedicated themselves exclusively to that area.
His founding premise was simple and powerful: that language should never be a barrier between a person and their access to justice.
That conviction did not stay on paper. It became the operating principle of the firm — in how attorneys were hired, in which languages the office served clients, and in how every case was handled from first consultation to final decision.
Arthur Pollack’s fluency in 13 languages was not incidental to his legal practice — it was the foundation of it. He understood something that many firms still miss today: that a client who cannot fully express their situation in the language of the attorney handling their case is a client who is not fully represented.
That insight shaped everything. From the beginning, this firm made a deliberate choice to build a team that could communicate directly — not through interpreters, not through third parties — with clients from as many backgrounds as possible.
Today, that legacy is alive in the attorneys and staff who make up the PPID team. We serve clients in Spanish, Chinese, Bulgarian, Russian, Hindi, Punjabi, and more.
When you call our office, you are not transferred to a translation service. You speak directly with someone who understands your language and your case.
This matters more in immigration than in almost any other area of law. Immigration cases involve your status, your family, your job, and your ability to remain in the country. The details matter.
A misunderstood question at a USCIS interview, a mistranslated document, or a filing that does not accurately reflect your situation can affect the outcome of your case in ways that are difficult or impossible to correct later.
Arthur Pollack built this firm on the belief that no one should face that risk because of the language they speak. More than 60 years later, that belief has not changed.
Arthur’s son, Conrad E. Pollack, graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1985 and joined his father’s firm. Father and son shared a vision of building something lasting together — but circumstances cut their time short. Arthur Pollack passed away, leaving Conrad at the helm of the firm at just 26 years old.
Conrad did not step back. Under his leadership, the firm grew rapidly. He was joined by Brian J. Isaac, a renowned litigator who heads the appellate department, and Fred A. DeCicco, a specialist in real estate and commercial law who leads that department.
Together, they formalized the partnership now known as Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco LLP.
Today, Conrad E. Pollack continues to lead the firm as Managing Partner — with more than three decades of practice and the same commitment his father established: that no client should go without quality legal representation because of language, background, or lack of access.
This history is not decorative. It means that when you trust your case to this firm, you are placing it in the hands of people who have been doing exactly this for over six decades — and who understand, from the inside, what it takes to build a life in a new country.
At PPID, immigration is not a service we provide. It is the reason this firm exists.
The team at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco LLP combines decades of experience in immigration law, litigation, and commercial law. Each member of the team brings a specific perspective — and together they cover the full spectrum of our clients’ needs.
We speak Spanish, Chinese, Bulgarian, Russian, Hindi, Punjabi, and more. We go above and beyond to make sure that language is never a barrier between us and our clients.
At PPID, you’re not just getting legal help – you’re getting a team that values inclusivity and is committed to giving you a customized experience, no matter what language you speak.

Today the firm is led by Conrad E. Pollack, Arthur’s son, who has continued that mission for more than three decades.
Yes. The team at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco LLP serves clients in Spanish, Chinese, Bulgarian, Russian, Hindi, Punjabi, and other languages. From the first consultation through the resolution of your case, you can communicate in the language where you feel most comfortable. Multilingual service has been a core part of this firm’s identity since the firm was founded.
Both options are available. We have two office locations: Manhattan (250 Broadway, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10007) and Peekskill (1045 Park Street, Suite 104, Peekskill, NY 10566). We also offer remote consultations for clients who prefer them or cannot travel in person.
What matters most is that you have access to the legal guidance you need, in the format that works best for you.
We handle a full range of immigration matters: temporary work visas including H-1B, O-1, E-1, TN,L1, E-1, and E-2; family-based and employment-based green cards; citizenship and naturalization; asylum; removal and deportation defense; and cases involving immigration consequences of criminal charges.
If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, the initial consultation is designed precisely to answer that question.
More than 60 years of continuous practice, thousands of families represented, and a team that speaks your language are concrete signals — not abstract promises.
This firm’s story begins with a founder who understood firsthand what it means to arrive in a new country. That origin still shapes the way we work: direct attention, no runaround, and a commitment that no client leaves a meeting without understanding exactly what is happening in their case.
It depends on the complexity of your case. If your immigration history is clean and your application fits clearly into a well-defined category, you may be able to move forward with less help.
But if there is any complication — a prior denial, a status issue, employer sponsorship, or simply uncertainty about which category applies — working with an attorney significantly reduces the risk of errors that can affect your case for months or permanently.
An initial consultation gives you clarity with no commitment required.
Fees vary depending on the type of case and its complexity. Many cases are handled on a flat-fee basis, meaning you know the full cost before we begin — no surprise charges.
Cases involving employer sponsorship may have separate fee structures for the company and the employee.
During your consultation, we provide a clear, specific fee structure based on your actual situation, not a generic estimate.
Yes. Although our firm has offices in New York, we can represent clients in proceedings before USCIS and other federal agencies regardless of where they are located in the United States.
The timeline depends entirely on the type of case. Some temporary visas can be approved in a matter of weeks with premium processing where available. Other processes — such as employment-based green cards or naturalization — can take months or years depending on the category, country of birth, and USCIS processing times.
What we can tell you from the initial consultation is what to expect in your specific case, with a realistic timeline — not a generic one.
It depends on the type of error and how far along the process you are. Some mistakes can be corrected — through a response to a Request for Evidence, a new filing, or an appeal. Others are more difficult to reverse once USCIS has issued a decision.
The most important thing is not to wait: the sooner an attorney reviews your situation, the more options you have available.
Yes. While immigration is at the heart of what we do, Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco LLP also handles personal injury, real estate, and litigation matters.
If you or a family member has a legal need outside of immigration, our team can advise you or refer you to the right resource within the firm.
